Should be upright as far as I know.

Upright, you might damage the element. I think that’s what it’s called.

Its best kept upright… BUT you can put it on its side… just leave it for a few hours after plugging it back in…. it lets the fluid settle down

If you lay it on its side do not plug it back in for at least 24 hours after you stand it back upright. This will allow the oil in the compressor to drain back down to where it belongs. It is best to transport standing upright if at all possible.

If you want to plug it in as soon as you get it home then you need to transport it upright. If it’s easier for you to transport it on it’s side (Never on it’s it back) then you have to wait 24hours before plugging it up.

It should be upright, unless it would be for a very, very, very, short time, because it will damage it, the freeon leaks out. If at all possible keep it upright.

It should be transported upright, but if you do put it on its side let it stand upright for an hour at least before plugging it in.

I have always been told that you should transport refrigerators upright,but have put them on their side for short distances.

Always have it upright and strap it down well……..so it doesn’t move all around. Secure the door and the shelves inside. Some good straps on a dolly will make it easier to move. Make sure it has been off for awhile and cleaned out because it will smell if you don’t do this. Also make sure all the water is drained and if it needs defrosting……..do that too. If it has the fins in the back like old ones do…..be very careful. they can cut your hands badly. You could also removed the door to make it easier too. Good luck!

It should be in an upright position, but if you go delicate is the same
The sensitive part is the tanks of liquid in the cooling circuit, who works in a horizontal position;
But it is sealed!

upright tie it to a dolly if you have to then tie it around the truck real good so it doesnt budge.
